Cosplay, short for costume play, is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character, or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan, but recent trends have included American cartoons and science fiction.

Favorite sources include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies, as well as anthropomorphic manifestations.

Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centered around role play. A broader use of the term cosplay applies to any costumed role play in venues apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.

Moogles are a recurring race in the Final Fantasy series. The name moogle (or Moguri in Japanese, Spanish and Italian and Mogry in German) is a portmanteau of the Japanese words for mole (mogura) and bat (komori). They first appeared in Final Fantasy III and have appeared in some capacity in every main series game since, with the exception of Final Fantasy IV.

The plot tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all.

O is for Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. He is one of several primary characters in the Star Wars series. Along with Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), R2-D2 and C-3PO, he is one of only four characters to appear in all six Star Wars films.

Officer Jenny is the name by which the police officers who use Pokémon in their duties are referred to. Officer Jenny is not a single entity. Rather, there are many Jennys working as police officers across the various regions of the Pokémon world.
