Updated DD Suggestion Guidelines

What with all the buzz about concerning CV's updating their guidelines, and a bunch of other informative journals concerning them, I realized...I've never really gone over my personal preference for daily deviation suggestions, nor have I really outlined my guidelines. I guess now is as good a time as any, right?

For the most part, it's really easy to suggest to me, I like to think. I try to respond to most notes that I receive, and when I don't I encourage you to resend, though spamming me doesn't get anybody anywhere! I recently deleted over 1000 notes, and I'm already back up to 600+. I love that you have an avid suggestion career, folks, but there will always be a delay with that many! <3

Suggesting a Daily Deviation to pullingcandy!

Daily deviation suggestions to me must be from the Photography > Cosplay and in some cases the Artisan Crafts > Cosplay & Role Playing catagories.

I also accept suggestions from the Photography > Horror & Macabre catagory.

The deviant must not have received a daily deviation in the last SIX MONTHS. I cannot feature a deviant who has received another daily deviation within that six month time frame, I just can't do it. There can be no exceptions!

That's pretty much it for the legalities of suggesting to me. There are, though, some other key points to consider - mainly, my own personal standards. So here they are!

I try to maintain a standard in the pieces I choose to feature. I will most likely not choose something taken from a cell phone or a webcam. Blur, grain, size, etc - those things should be taken in to account. It might be the most amazing costume ever, but if you can't see what it is due to the quality or size of the photograph, nobody else would be able to tell.

I won't feature your friends or you or anyone else for their birthday, anniversary, Christmas, etc. Just no. Any instances that have happened thus far have been accidental. Daily deviations are a nice surprise, not an award or a gift!

Don't bully me. I might be a relatively quiet CV, but I am doing what I've been assigned and if I make a choice that's my choice. Whatever reason I have, it's not personal to you or anyone else but myself. I won't change it and trying to force me won't make it any better, and it really won't change my mind.

I like self suggestions. Don't be afraid to self suggest to me.
